Our mission
Alba Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics is a professional club founded in 2020 in New York City.
Our mission is to help young gymnasts acquire necessary life skills such as discipline, dedication, perseverance, leadership, teamwork and time-management. Our gymnasts learn value of hard work and are able to create life-long friendships.
Our experienced coaches will guide your child through various exercises, techniques and routines, helping them build strength, flexibility and coordination.
Our goal is to provide a positive, educational, fun and safe environment for your children.
Meet the Founder
My name is Albina Sidletska and I am the Founder & Head Coach at Alba Academy. I started rhythmic gymnastics when I was 8 years old and fell in love with this sport. At the age of 11 I joined Kyiv Regional Team and at the age of 14 I was selected to join National Team of Ukraine. Well known as “Deriugins School”. I have won National Champion titles in both Individual and Group routines, as well as international championships. I have earned Master of Sport degree at the age of 15 years old and at 17 I started coaching rhythmic gymnasts.
I love working with kids and share my knowledge with them. This is priceless to see how they learn, grow with us and achieve their own goals.
Rhythmic Gymnastics is my passion and I have dedicated my life to teaching this beautiful, graceful Olympic sport. I studied at National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine on speciality “Olympic Sport and Education”.
My mission as a coach is to help my students realize that through learning they can enhance their life in a positive way. I want to help all my students believe in themselves and through that confidence take on the challenges of life and move forward.
